Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has launched a new service that will deliver driving licences and vehicle registration cards within two hours to residents in Dubai.
Same-day delivery will be also available for applicants residing in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.
The announcement aims to ensure drivers receive their driving licences quickly as well as get replacements for cards that have been damaged or lost.
The quick delivery method is also applicable to individuals applying for international driving licences, which permits them to drive in other countries.
During the first quarter of 2023, RTA renewed 107,054 vehicle registrations and 25,500 driving licences, with 939 transactions made to replace damaged or lost driving licences.
