Dubai Police have added the Audi RS e-tron GT electric vehicle to its luxury car fleet.
Announced at the Arabian Travel Market 2023, the electric car is branded with the green Dubai Police livery and will help in enhancing the police sector in Dubai.
The car has a charge time of 22 and a half minutes, enabling quick response times.
The new addition joins the Audi R8, which can go from 0 to 100km/h within 3 seconds. The cars encourage sustainability in the sector and are in line with the Dubai Vision 2030, which aims to solidify Dubai as a hub for sustainability.
Major General Jamal Salem Al Jallaf, Director of the General Department of Criminal Investigation said, "These vehicles enhance the security presence of the tourist police, connecting them with tourists, visitors, and the general public. The Audi RS e-tron GT electric vehicle supports the government and global focus on sustainability in all aspects of daily life, ensuring that Dubai continues to impress the world and showcase its modern face."
