Little pirates will love the sights and sounds of the working dhows and a guided trip up and down the Creek. There are several tourist dhows that can take you for a guided trip complete with soft drinks and a commentary of the historical landmarks.

Hop on board Dubai Marina’s Water Bus which shuttles between the Marina Walk, Marina Terrace, Marina Mall and Marina Promenade every 15 to 20 minutes. It’s especially lovely at sunset or after dark, as boats float past the show-stopping parade of shimmering towers. Tickets are priced between Dhs 3 and Dhs 11. Visit www.rta.ae.
