On our visit, we tried one of the advanced facials on the menu, the Anne Semonin Marine Mineral Purifier. A 75 minute treatment that deep cleanses, decongests and rejuvinates the skin. The difference it makes to the skin is clearly visible in just one session.
Before the treatment starts, the staff at reception welcome us with a warm smile and lead us to the compact but cozy lounge area where they serve us a welcome drink along with nuts and dried figs.
Once we fill in the detailed consultation form, the therapist asks us to go inside one of the two therapy rooms and prepare for the advance facial experience.
The treatment begins with inhalation of aroamtic oil along wth a light full body massage that set us into a relaxed state. This was followed by traditional steam gently blown across the face, after which the therapst extracted any blackheads, and once completed, was followed with a deep cleansing facial massage. The treatment was finished off with the application of the advanced Anne Semonin peel off mask, which leaves the skin instantly calmed and silky smooth.
We left the spa with a much healthier and glowing face. The treatment takes 75 minutes and costs Dhs 550. Call 04-4033111.
