Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) and the Dubai Police General HQ have announced that nominations have now opened for the first-ever Delivery Service Excellence Award.
Running till 30 November, the awards will encourage delivery companies and drivers to take an active role in enhancing road traffic safety and customer service quality.
The award has two categories, the first is for companies and aims to recognise the two best delivery companies in Dubai and the two best via smart platforms and applications, with the second category highlighting distinguished drivers, which will honour the best 100 drivers each year.
Companies can participate to receive the award by either nominating the company or the drivers.
The criteria for selecting the best delivery companies include compliance with health, safety, environment and quality standards, abiding by RTA’s requirements and the top international practices, committing to using advanced technologies and continuous training, and improving customer satisfaction rating.
The best driver criteria include a clean record in terms of complaints, offences and accidents in addition to a positive assessment of the employee’s performance.
The winners of the awards will be announced on social media.
