Abu Dhabi Police have increased inspections for people using e-scooters.
The awareness campaign was held for over two months and aimed at educating riders to follow all the set safety measures including wearing protective gear and riding in authorised areas.
Seated scooters are allowed and individuals are advised to reduce their speed in crowded areas.
Additionally, riders are advised to avoid carrying heavy items and losing their balance.
