Hospitalisation Low In The UAE

With the Covid-19 cases increasing, the UAE has now increased precautionary measures, to ensure the safety of all.

The UAE has also been one of the leading countries in the world to contain the virus.

Due to the surge in cases in the past week, in comparison to the previous months, hospitalisations for Covid-19 patients still remains low.

55% of bed spaces in ICU's and hospitals are currently vacant with below 3% of bed spaces used for Covid-19 patients.

All precautionary measures are being taken including wearing face masks, physical distancing and using the green pass on the Al Hosn App for entry.

Individuals are also encouraged to be fully vaccinated with people over the age of 18 advised to take their booster shots if the second dose was taken six months prior.

The booster shots have proven to reduce the effects of the virus and prevent variants.
