In line with the change to the working week and the weekend annouced for the UAE, government employees in Sharjah are set to follow a four day work week.
Individuals working in Sharjah will now receive a three day weekend, on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Government companies will work from 7.30am to 3.30pm from Monday to Thursday.
The change will come into effect on 1 January 2022.
