Pfizer Vaccine Available For Children Aged 5 To 11

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has announced that the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine has been approved for emergency use for children aged 5 to 11 years.

The announcement has been made after results of clinical studies were received and rigorous assessments were made.

The results of clinical studies indicated that the vaccine is safe for use and has given a strong immune response to children aged 5 and 11 years.

The initiative will help offer children with an added immunity boost as well as increase the recovery process in children.

Additionally, booster doses for Pfizer-BioNTech and Sputnik vaccines will be given to individuals with chronic diseases, individuals aged 18 to 49 and individuals aged 18 to 59 working in the front line.
