The Emirates Pavilion at Expo 2020 is ready to welcome guests from 1 October.

The pavilion is located at the Opportunity District and is within walking distance from the Al Wasl Dome.

Visitors can experience two storeys of interactive multi-sensory installations which will offer a preview into the future of commercial aviation, through the role that science and technology play in air travel.

Expo visitors can book their preferred dates as well as their time slots prior to visiting.

The pavilion was completed by June of this year with construction beginning in March 2019. It was built using non-hazardous, regional, reusable and recyclable materials for its structure.

The structure is modelled after an aircraft's wings taking a flight that curves around the sides of the building.

Holographic models will be used for educational visualisation to display how an aircraft achieves flight by highlighting the physical properties of lift, thrust, gravity and drag.

The Cleaner Skies installation will show how future innovations are linked to the world's biggest challenges, sustainability, population growth and technological advancements.

Visitors can also challenge one another in an interactive quiz about aviation technologies being developed to tackle future challenges.

A lab with robotic arms will offer visitors with the chance to experiment with technologies that will make the aircraft of the future faster, lighter and stronger.

Individuals can also build and fly their own personalised aircraft with elements including range, type of engine, wings and livery, run it through a flight simulator and get instant feedback on their design decisions.

Information on biometrics, data analytics and smart technologies which help transform the passenger's experience on the ground, will be visualised.

Visitors can also use VR headsets to travel through the interiors of the aircraft cabin where they can navigate interactive windows, go windowless and see different types of cabins and seating configurations.

To make the experience better, guests will be assisted by the Emirates Cabin Crew.
