The Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge has announced that schools in Abu Dhabi will now offer PCR testing on school campuses.
The announcement is in partnership with the Department of Health in Abu Dhabi.
This will come into effect from 7 September.
The initiative will help support education continuity and alleviate pressure on parents to get tested.
Nasal and saliva PCR tests will be done by trained health professionals for students, educators and school staff.
The tests will be held to meet the routine testing requirements and ensure the safety of all.
