His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has launched the 100 million meals initiative for Ramadan.
The 100 million meals initiative will provide people in need in over 20 countries with food packages.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed has encouraged companies, businesses and the public to make monetary donations to help provide food meals to people without food resources.
The food campaign will help individuals in the Middle East, Africa and Asia and is an expansion of the 10 million meals campaign that took place in 2020.
The Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives along with Food Banking Regional Network and local humanitarian organisations will deliver the food packages to the individuals and families in need.
To donate, visit the 100 million meals website, call the campaign centre at 8004999 or make a bank transfer to Dubai Islamic Bank account with the IBAN number AE080240001520977815201.
Through Etisalat and Du, donations can be made by texting 'meal' to the numbers listed on the website depending on the number of meals selected for donation.
