The Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences in partnership with the Dubai Health Authority has organised 'Wellness On Wheels', an initiative that provides vaccines to the public through mobile clinics.
The initiative currently has two mobile clinics, staffed with 11 nurses and doctors that administer vaccines to members of the public.
This initiative is in line with Dubai's effort to provide 100% immunisation to all eligible adults by the end of 2021.
The vaccination drive has been conducted at various locations including Al Garhoud Private Hospital, DP World, American Hospital Dubai, and Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The mobile clinics will further increase their reach over the coming months.
