The UAE has announced that it will complete a further 2 million coronavirus COVID-19 tests over the next 2 months.
The tests will concentrate primarily on workers within government sectors and the service sector, including hotel staff, those who work in retail as well as public transport staff including taxi drivers.
So far the UAE has conducted over 3.5 million tests, and has registered just over 52,000 cases of which 40,721 throughout the country have recovered and 11,023 are still undergoing treatment.
