During the Holy Month of Ramadan, Dubai Holding, a globally diversified investment company with investments spanning 31 countries, is actively engaged in its Ramadan initiative called 'Gift It Forward'. In collaboration with the Community Development Authority (CDA), the initiative aims to spread kindness and generosity by distributing gifts to those in need. As part of this initiative, Dubai Holding has already packed and distributed around 7,200 gifts out of its target of 8,000.
In preparation for Eid, Dubai Holding with its companies and partners Azadea and Apparel Group, is set to repurpose over 70,000 new items into unique gifts for blue-collar workers and low-income families in Dubai.
Through six packing and distribution events involving over 150 volunteers, these items will be transformed into one-of-a-kind gifts. This initiative aligns with the Dubai Holding Sustainability Strategy, promoting mindful consumption and reducing waste while emphasising the value of giving back to the community.
