UAE National Day Official Ceremony To Take Place At Expo City Dubai

UAE National Day, also known as UAE Union Day, is celebrated every year on 2 December to commemorate the unification of the Emirates in 1971. The official ceremony for this significant public holiday will take place at Expo City, Dubai. Expo City, concurrently hosting the climate change conference COP28 from 30 November to 12 December, will showcase the country's sustainability journey during the National Day ceremony. Embracing 2023 as the Year of Sustainability, the 2 December event will focus on sustainability theme. 

The event will be accessible to the public, and details on tickets availability will be announced shortly. The event will feature projections, performances, and storytelling, offering insights into the UAE's vision for a sustainable future.

For UAE National Day, people will enjoy the last long weekend of 2023 next week. Commemoration Day (formerly known as Martyrs’ Day) falls on Thursday, 30 November, but for the private sector, the public holiday is on Friday, 1 December. The National Day holiday is on Saturday, 2 December, with an extra day off on Sunday, 3 December, we will get a long weekend.
