Marine Transport Between Two Emirates To Resume

Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) will resume the Dubai Ferry service between Dubai and Sharjah, from 4 August.

The service will offer eight trips made daily from Monday to Thursday and six from Friday to Sunday.

The Dubai Ferry connects Al Ghubaiba Marine Station in Dubai and Aquarium Marine Station in Sharjah and takes 35 minutes. 

From Monday to Thursday, passengers travelling from Dubai can take the Dubai Ferry to Sharjah at 7.45am in the morning and can return in the evening at 4.45pm and 6.15pm. People can travel from Sharjah to Dubai in the morning at 7am and 8.30am and return from Dubai at 4pm, 5.30pm and 7pm.

Over the weekend from Friday to Sunday, all trips will begin in the afternoon. Passengers can use the Dubai Ferry at 2pm, 4pm and 6pm from Sharjah, and at 3pm, 5pm and 8pm from Dubai.

Ticket prices for one trip are set at Dhs 15 for the silver class and priced at Dhs 25 for the gold class.
