In celebration of the first anniversary since the Mohammed Bin Rashid Library opened, a range of activities and entertainment will be held on Saturday, 17 June.
The theme for the event is 'A Year of Culture in a Whole World' and will host a variety of activities like a comic art exhibition, cartoon shows, pianist performances, mental games, poetry, singing and a book club.
Amazing performances will be held on the day by the Emirates Youth Symphony Orchestra.
Children will also be able to showcase their talents in reciting poetry and playing the piano.
A range of interactive workshops will also be held including drawing, making glass basins, producing podcasts, iPhone photography, and recycling.
Since its launch, the library now has around 120,000 books, with genres ranging from literature, social sciences, culture to translations, targeting different age groups and nationalities.
