Taaleem, one of the UAE's leading education providers, along with Deliveroo, the food delivery platform, have teamed up to release a book on food wastage.
Titled 'Lyn's Food Adventure', the book is targeted at children aged 3 to 8 years old and encourages little ones to be mindful of food and how to minimise waste.
The book is written by Ayah Halawany and illustrated by Aman Darwish and is available in both English and Arabic.
Children will be taught how to reuse leftovers, juice over-ripe fruits and share extra food with those in need.
The book will be distributed at all Taaleem schools and is also available to read via the dedicated website.
