UAE residents can tune in on 11 May at 3pm as Sultan Al Neyadi will be hosting 'A Call From Space - Mauritius Edition'.

The call will see the Emirati astronaut communicate with students from Mauritius while on board the International Space Station (ISS) and share insights as well as answer questions about his life in space.

Currently on his second month as part of a six-month mission, Sultan Al Neyadi continues to conduct various experiments on the effects zero gravity has on the human body, and find ways to manage the risk.

The Emirati astronaut made his first spacewalk on Friday, 28 April, where along with astronaut Stephen Bowen, replaced the Radio Frequency Unit, used by astronauts to communicate, and prepared the solar array installations outside the ISS, that help in generating power.

Sultan Al Neyadi leads Crew-6 and has astronaut Stephen Bowen, Spacecraft Commander at NASA, astronaut Warren Hoburg, Pilot at NASA, and cosmonaut Andrey Fedyaev, Mission Specialist at Roscosmos, as part of the team.

Tune in to watch the live call via the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre website.
