Fines For Not Complying With Poultry Increase

The Ministry of Economy (MoEc) has announced that fines will be applicable to all companies and retailers found not complying with the increase in the prices for eggs and poultry in the UAE.

A fine of Dhs 10,000 will be given to all the companies found violating the price increase.

For repeat violations, a fine of Dhs 200,000 will be issued.

The decision made in March saw a maximum increase of 13% set temporarily and will be assessed within six months.
