DXB Update: Check-in For Emirates and flydubai Reopens At Terminal 3

Emirates

Earlier today, 18 April, Dubai International Airport (DXB) announced the resumption of inbound flights for airlines operating from Terminal 1. Now, DXB has issued a new notification for passengers via X, formerly Twitter. As per the update, check-in services for Emirates and flydubai have resumed at Terminal 3.

While sharing the update, DXB has urged passengers to visit the terminal only upon receiving departure confirmation from the airline, given the high number of guests in the check-in area.

Emirates Urges Passengers To Avoid Visiting Airport Without Confirmed Flight Booking

Emirates Airlines's check-in suspension on Wednesday morning, April 17, was scheduled until midnight but was later extended further. This suspension continued until 9am on Thursday, April 18. And now, as the airline resumes check-in operations, passengers are advised to proceed to the airport only if they have a confirmed flight booking, as the airport remains congested.

In a statement, Emirates said, "Customers impacted by flight cancellations should contact their booking agent, DM the airline on X, or visit the Emirates website for rebooking. There may still be delays to arriving and departing flights. Please check the latest flight schedules on the website."
