UAE Weather: Rainfall On The Cards This Week

After rainfall on Sunday, 28 April, in several parts of the UAE, residents of Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah wake up to heavy rain and hail as the National Centre for Meteorology (NCM) anticipates rainfall throughout the week. Monday, 29 April, will see cloudy weather with scattered rainfall expected in the afternoon. Rain is also expected from Tuesday to Thursday, spanning 30 April to 2 May. According to the NCM forecast, 1 and 2 May will experience unstable weather with varying rainfall intensities.

On Monday, 29 April, the weather forecast indicates fair to partly cloudy conditions. Convective clouds may form in the east and some inland areas in the afternoon, potentially leading to rain. Nighttime may bring humidity in certain inland and coastal areas, with a chance of fog or mist formation in the early morning, particularly in the western regions.

Weather On Tuesday, 30 April 

On Tuesday, 30 April, the weather is expected to be fair to partly cloudy with occasional clouds. There's a chance of local convective cloud formation associated with rainfall eastward and over some internal and western areas by afternoon. Nighttime may bring humidity to certain coastal and inland areas, with a chance of mist forming in the early morning. 

Unstable Weather To Continue On 1 And 2 May 

Wednesday, 1 May, is expected to be partly cloudy with a chance of light to moderate rainfall in various parts, including the islands and both eastern and western areas by evening. 

On Thursday, 2 May, the weather will be unstable with convective clouds and varying intensities of rainfall across different parts of the country, accompanied by a notable drop in temperatures. Winds will be light to moderate, blowing from the northwest to northeast, with some areas experiencing fresh to strong winds. Clouds may lead to blowing dust and sand, affecting visibility, with wind speeds ranging from 15kph to 35kph, reaching up to 65kph.
