Dubai International (DXB) has announced that only public transport and authorised vehicles will be permitted to enter the Arrivals area in Terminal 1.
The decision is in line with the aim to reduce congestion while picking up passengers at the airport.
Individuals are now advised to use the parking lot or the valet service.
Prices for Car Park A, which is a 2 to 3-minute walk from the terminal, start at Dhs 5 for five minutes, Dhs 30 for 30 minutes and Dhs 40 for up to two hours.
Car Park B, a 7 to 9-minute walk, is priced at Dhs 25 for an hour and Dhs 30 for two hours.
