Dubai Airports has announced that the northern runway will be closed for 45 days, from 9 May to 22 June.
The decision is being taken in an effort to complete refurbishments at the runway for safe and efficient operations.
Additionally, flydubai has announced that 34 flights during the 45 day period will operate from Dubai World Central (DWC).
All other flydubai flights will continue to operate from Terminal 2 and Terminal 3.
