UAE Cyber Security Council Issues Security Alert For Apple Users

The Cyber Security Council, established by the UAE Cabinet in November 2020, have issued security alerts advising users of Apple and Google Chrome to ensure their devices and browsers are up to date. The authorities took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to warn Apple users of several vulnerabilities in Apple systems (iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS, and Safari). 

The UAE Cyber Security Council stated that these vulnerabilities could allow malicious attackers to execute harmful code on your operating systems. The council advised all the users to promptly update their Chrome browsers to the latest version to safeguard against potential threats.

In a separate post, the Cyber Security Council also issued a critical warning regarding high-risk vulnerabilities in the Google Chrome browser. It stated that these vulnerabilities could allow malicious attackers to execute harmful code on your operating systems. 

Furthermore, the Cyber Security Council advised users to promptly update their Chrome browsers to the latest version to safeguard against potential threats. Lastly, they urged residents to share this vital warning with friends and family to ensure the safety of their digital community.
