Review: Teatro at Towers Rotana

Fusion fine dining restaurant Teatro at Towers Rotana Hotel opened its doors in 2001 and has earned its reputation as one of Dubai’s favourite restaurants. This multiple award-winning restaurant sets itself apart by offering different cuisines, ranging from Japanese and Chinese to Indian and Italian; and its glass encased walk-in grape cellar stocks a large variety of exquisite bottles from across the globe.

What we ate

We started with the Wasabi Tempura Prawns, the Peking Duck Spring Rolls and Buffalo Chicken Wings. This was followed by the Spicy Crunchy Tuna and Crazy Salmon sushi. Mains were the Miso Chilean seabass, Butter Chicken and the Khai Pad Med - stir-fried chicken with cashew nut and oyster sauce; all rounded off with the Flame Torched Baked Hawaiian and the Chocolate Soufflé Cake to share. What can I say, we were hungry!

Verdict

You know you’re in a good restaurant when it’s packed on an ordinary night during the week. And we all agreed the food was absolutely fantastic! Highly recommended - and if you don’t try the Wasabi Tempura Prawns, you’re definitely missing out!

Price

Appetisers start from Dhs 45, Sushi and Sashimi from Dhs 50, mains from Dhs 90 and desserts start from Dhs 60.
