Abu Dhabi will certainly have that swing this festive season as Anantara Eastern Mangroves and Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara play host to Parisian jazz band Swing Deluxe. Formed in 2003 by young Parisian musicians, year on year their concerts have evolved into full scale musical events including singing, swing and Russian cabaret performed at the Jazz clubs of Paris, throughout Europe and the Middle East.
Swing Deluxe will be bringing their unique take on Russian (Gypsy) Jazz to the capital from 24th to 31st December with three appearances at Anantara Eastern Mangroves, and two performances at Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara.
Expect a week of infectious big band sound at Anantara Eastern Mangroves Hotel, commencing with the Christmas Eve Barbeque at The Pool Deck on 24th December from 7.30pm to 11pm, followed by Brunch on Christmas Day from 12.30pm to 4pm and finishing with “Swing into the New Year” on The Pool Deck on New Year’s Eve (9pm to 3am).
The world famous dunes of The Empty Quarter at Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara will also form the backdrop for two upbeat performances from Swing Deluxe, as the poolside Mediterranean venue, Ghadeer, takes you to Paris with a five course French inspired dinner menu starting from Dhs 450 on 29th and 30th December.
