Frankie’s presents Dining with Divas, a night of fine dining and beautiful music performed by three stunning divas, who will impress both classic and contemporary lovers with their virtuoso performances on Saturday, 28th November.
JBR’s iconic Frankie’s Italian Bar & Grill draws on its Italian roots to bring these performers together in an intimate showcase of talent and musical artistry reminiscent of Verona and the great classical performances of Europe.
The Dubai-based stars of the evening are Sopranda, Chelle L Rey and Guzel Teymoor, who together have created a showcase featuring the greats of classic and contemporary music for an evening that will make hearts sing and spirits soar.
Sopranda
Born and raised in Canada, Sopranda has travelled the world with Broadway musical productions including The Producers, The Three Musketeers, West Side Story, Evita and The Wizard of Oz. Like all vocalists who re-create classic standard arrangements, she combines various influences to create her own unique interpretations and is an accomplished Coloratura opera singer.
Chelle L Rey
Chelle L Rey is a soul singer from Manchester with a passion for divas such as Etta James and Aretha Franklin. She has performed all over the UK, including for Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber in the Eurovision competition 'Your Country Needs You', where she placed sixth to sing for her country.
Guzel Teymoor
With over 15-years experience singing and teaching music throughout Europe, Russia and the UAE, Guzel Teymoor is a true diva and a skilled soprano. She first studied in the Moscow Conservatory before continuing her musical journey in Italy taking master-classes with Monsterrat Caballe and Mirella Freni. Guzel’s experience and powerful voice bring a dramatic ambience and presence to the evening.
Together the divas will take the audience on a journey through music, touching on classic and contemporary styles in a tribute to music and all who love it.
The black tie event will feature a set menu created especially for the evening by Frankie’s head chef Giovanni Pintore and is priced at Dhs 300.
