Angry Birds and Chhota-Bheem coming to Dubai

Global Village has recently acquired the exclusive Intellectual Property rights for the worldwide phenomenon 'Angry Birds' for live activations and non-ticketed shows across the GCC, for the duration of two years in an exclusive deal with Rovio Entertainment.

Additionally, Global Village has also acquired the IP rights for the tremendously popular Indian cartoon 'Chhota - Bheem' in an exclusive deal with 'Green Gold Animation'. These two deals make Global Village the sole holder of these IP rights across the region.

Commenting on the acquisition, Ahmed Al Rayyes, Commercial Director of Global Village said: "Angry Birds has grown into a global phenomenon with a continuously growing audience on an international level and Global Village is proud to be the first destination in the region to offer its guests the opportunity to witness these characters in person. We are also very excited to be bringing 'Chhota Bheem' outside of India for the very first time in the cartoon's history.  Every season we work towards offering our guests new and exciting entertainment shows; therefore, partnering with international brands such as 'Angry Birds' & 'Chhota Bheem' is part of this very initiative to ensure our guests receive world class experience."

The characters from 'Chhota Bheem' are showcased in a unique show put together by the entertainment team at Global Village. Under the name of 'Einstein-Bheem', the character of the most popular Indian cartoon Chhota-Bheem and his best friend Chutki will be visiting Global Village from the fantasy kingdom of Dholakpur.
