How to find your iPhone serial number and the replacement process

Here are steps on how to find your iPhone serial number plus the replacement process if you're one of the customers affected by the recent recall on iPhone 6s phones in the UAE.

STEP 1: Find the serial number or IMEI on your iPhone

Go to Settings > General > About and look for your device's serial number, IMEI/MEID, and ICCID. If you'd like to paste this information into Apple registration here, tap and hold on the number and copy it.

STEP 2: Back up your data

To prepare your iPhone 6s for the battery replacement process, please follow the steps below:

• Back up your data to iTunes or iCloud.
• Turn off Find my iPhone
• Erase data and settings in Settings > General > Reset > Erase all Content and Settings

STEP 3: Replacement Process

Choose one of the service options below to have your battery replaced. Your iPhone will be examined prior to any service to verify that it is eligible for this program and in working order.

Note: Wireless carrier partners are not participating in this program. If your iPhone 6s has any damage such as a cracked screen which impairs the replacement of the battery, that issue will need to be resolved prior to the battery replacement.
