Taste of Dubai Details Are Out

The much-awaited food festival catering to discerning foodies makes its return for a 12th season at Dubai Media City Amphitheatre, and needless to say it is back with a bang … bigger and better, after hosting eleven successful seasons in the city already.

Spread over three days in March from 7 through to 9,  the foodie extravaganza will bring signature dishes from the top 20 selected restaurants to you for only Dhs 15 each.

Well, that sounds like a deal and we have not yet even started giving out details. Take a quick tempting look at Taste of Dubai’s activity line-up.

Who’s Cooking

Guests of the honour for this season are MasterChef Australia’s judge Matt Preston; Michelin Star Chef David Myers; Legendary Iron Chef and Michelin Star Chef Masaharu Morimoto who will be taking live cooking classes sharing their best kept secrets with you. You think you got talent? Matt Preston will also be judging dishes prepared by amateur cooks. Time to put your chef hats on!

Joining the line-up are culinary duo Nick Alvis and Scott Price; English cook and restauranteur Simon Rimmer; Meat & grilling expert Tarek Ibrahim; South African Chef Lorna Maseko; Arabic & Aleppian cuisine expert Mohammad Orfali; and the Giggling Gourmet Chef Jenny Morris.

Who’s Baking

A cake is clearly a sign of celebration so how could it not be a part of a festival that celebrates food. Master French Pâtissier, Eric Lanlard will be running a series of baking masterclasses at the new ‘Jif Big Baking Tent’ by ICCA, where you can learn the art of cake decorating from the master himself.
