Taste of Dubai celebrates 10 delicious years when it returns to the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre for its milestone edition from Thursday 9th to Saturday 11th March.
The UAE’s favourite food, drink and music festival will feature the best ever line-up of chefs, 24 of the city’s hottest restaurants and music icon Billy Ocean headlining the Entertainment Stage.
Since launching in 2006, the three-day festival has grown alongside the city’s flourishing culinary scene to become an essential part of the social season for foodies, families and friends alike.
For this special milestone event, on Thursday 9th the festival is playing host to the most impressive chef line-up the festival has ever had, including international and local celebrity chefs like Michel Roux Jr, Gary Rhodes, Aldo Zilli, Eric Lanlard, Jean-Christophe Novelli, Mohammad Orfali, Tarek Ibrahim, Tim Anderson, Atul Kochharand Paolo Pettenuzzo.
Legendary soul and Motown singer Billy Ocean will be headlining on the opening night and will be performing all of his top hits including Love Really Hurts Without You, Caribbean Queen, When the Going Gets Tough and Get Outta My Dreams, Get Into My Car.
Taste of Dubai is the only place in the city where you can enjoy tasting your way around 24 of the city’s hottest restaurants for as little as Dhs 15 per plate. This year sees the return of some of the festival favourites as well as a number of new eateries including Ramusake, Weslodge, Big Easy Bar and Grill, Aubaine, Burger and Lobster, Carnival by Tresind, Catch, Namu, J&G Steakhouse, Cook Hall, Sonamu, Olea, The Gramercy, Fratelli La Bufala, Abyat, Royal Orchid and Spice&Ice.
Electrolux will be bringing their new ‘Make Life Delicious’ programme to the festival which will give you the opportunity to both learn, share and be inspired to try new ways to bring food to life. Zahra Abdalla will also be sharing her insights into family gatherings with a twist on traditional Middle Eastern cuisine.
The Electrolux Chef’s Theatre will host live demonstrations from a selection of the world’s best chefs, including Tim Anderson, Atul Kochar and Paolo Pettenuzzo. Watch as they transform simple ingredients into world-class dishes.
