The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation (MBRF) has officially launched the third annual Nobel Museum in Dubai Creek Park's Children's City.
The 2017 Nobel Museum - being held under the theme "The Nobel Prize in Physics: Understanding Matter - is designed to introduce the public to the work and discoveries of Nobel Laureates in physics, such as through X-Ray imagery.
Other sections include those which deal with the life of Alfred Nobel, the constituent parts and properties of elements, the role of physics in the universe, electronics, and quantum physics, as well as the achievements of previous Nobel laureates.
The high-tech museum includes multiple interactive elements, such as a section which allows visitors to build their own electronic inventions, and the "VR experience", which allows visitors to go on a journey through the cosmos using virtual reality gear.
