1. IFA Football
International Football Academy (IFA) returns to DSW with sessions that will focus on the FUNdamentals of football. Open for youth from 4 to 16 years of age, the sessions will focus on developing technical abilities and tactical knowledge of the sport. Three-hour sessions run daily from Sunday to Thursday with prices starting from Dhs 125 per day or Dhs 500 per week. 10% sibling discount is available.
2. KAFO Academy
Two-time African Footballer of the Year winner Frederic Kanoute has turned his attentions to the next generation. Kanoute’s KAFO Academy offers young footballers who are serious about the ‘Beautiful Game’ the chance to learn amazing skills through a team of highly-qualified and experienced coaches. Players can learn tricks to dizzy opponents at KAFO’s Skills Workshop and challenge themselves with fun, technique-based assessments. Three-hour academy sessions cost Dhs 125 per day or Dhs 500 per week, or Dhs 1,800 per month.

Hoops Basketball Academy
Another new addition to Dubai Sports World this year is Hoops Basketball Academy, who will bring NBA action to the six courts onsite. Under the leadership of Coach Kenneth Smith, a former NBA player with over 20 years of experience in professional basketball, the academy aims to help UAE’s youth, from 4 to 18 years of age, learn and excel at techniques such as dribbling, shooting, offence and defense. Three-hour sessions run Sunday to Thursday with prices starting from Dhs 75 per person for an hour session, Dhs 500 per week, or Dhs 1,200 per month.

Returns once again for another exciting year at Dubai Sports World. The star-studded sessions feature former West Indies captain, Jimmy Adams - the ambassador this year – and other visiting celebrities who will be sharing their winning tips, tricks and lessons. Tennis 360 will offer various training programs, run by an international team of coaches that cater to kids, teens and adults. One can choose from daily private or semi-private lessons for kids and adults, personalised programmes, and corporate cardio tennis clinics for all levels ranging from beginners to “semi-retired” players. Also on offer is Cardio tennis which involves aerobic drills, ball striking, TRX exercises for strength and conditioning, and getting fit to the beat of the music. Dubai Sports World this year welcomes Dubai Pro Wrestling Academy, the first and only pro-wrestling academy in the UAE to prepare future champions in wrestling. Safety is a primary priority and learning safety techniques is key under the supervision of the academy’s well-experienced team. Classes are open for children age 5 and older. Daily sessions run from Sunday to Thursday with prices starting from Dhs 100 per hour or Dhs 750 for 10 sessions package.

| DSW offers the public a range of free options, including access to its facilities, a 545-meter indoor running track and a state of the art gym equipped by Technogym and operated by Fitness 360. Visitors are encouraged to leverage onsite fitness machine coaching. Through DSW’s partnership with Ping Pong Dubai, the community is welcome to enjoy free use of 12 tables throughout the summer. Supported by Shuttle Time, eight badminton courts will also be available with professional flooring, all provided by Yonex. Advanced online reservation is necessary for ping pong and badminton. |
