Abu Dhabi Private Schools To Increase Fees

The Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) in Abu Dhabi has announced that during the academic year 2023 to 2024, private schools will be able to increase fees for students.

The decision comes after a three-year freeze on increasing school fees due to the pandemic.

Schools that have received an 'outstanding' rank can increase their fees by 3.94%, with 'very good' schools able to increase by 3.38%.

An increase of 2.81% is applicable to schools that have been rated 'good'.

All schools that received either 'acceptable', 'weak' or 'very weak' ratings can increase fees by 2.25%.

The increase in fees is not mandatory, and based on the requirements of the school, a decision can be made.

Private schools in Dubai and Sharjah have also made decisions to increase their fees.
