Dubai Landmarks Go Blue

Various iconic landmarks in Dubai turned blue, to mark World Autism Day, which is celebrated globally on 2 April.

The month of April is also dedicated to raising awareness of the cause.

The Infinity Bridge, Dubai Canal Waterfall, Burj Khalifa, Burj Al Arab, Dubai Frame, Mohammed Bin Rashid Library, Tolerance Bridge, Global Village and Ain Dubai turned blue for the cause.

Autism is a genetic condition that occurs from birth and is detected in 1 in every 59 births around the world.

One of the more common development disorders, people with autism behave and communicate in different ways, with the abilities varying for each individual.
