Individuals that were fined during the pandemic for not following COVID-19 protocols can now avail of 50% discounts.
The announcement was made by the Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Prosecution.
Coming into effect on 15 March, the discount will be applicable for two months.
The fines can be paid via the Ministry of Interior website or app.
During the pandemic, individuals found not wearing a face mask were fined Dhs 3,000.
