Change In School Timings During Ramadan

School timings in Dubai during the Holy Month of Ramadan have been reduced.

According to the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), school timings have been shortened to five hours.

On Fridays, schools must end by noon, in light of Friday prayers being held.

Several news sources have also reported that children that are fasting during Ramadan are exempt from participating in physical activities.

Schools, however, will only operate for eight days during the Holy Month of Ramadan, due to spring break running from 25 March to 9 April.
