The four-day-long Eid Al Adha break has come to an end and with everyone going back to work and normal daily activities, we all are already looking forward to the next upcoming long holiday break.
The next two occasions will be for Hijri New Year which will fall on 30 July and for Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) birthday, which this year is on 8 October.
As both these occasions fall on a Saturday, it has not yet been confirmed whether holidays will be given and if they will be a longer weekends.
However, the next certain long weekend will be held in December to mark Commemoration Day and the UAE's National Day, the 51st since the seven Emirates came together.
Commemoration Day is marked on Thursday, 1 December and UAE National Day is celebrated on Friday, 2 December, residents can expect a four-day-long break from 1 December, when combined with the weekend on Saturday and Sunday.
