Nigel Ners, a five-year-old boy from the Philippines handed in Dhs 4,000 in cash that he found to the Al Qusais Police Station.
Dubai Police has rewarded the boy for his honesty.
Brigadier Abdulhalim Muhammad Al Hashmi, Director of Al Qusais Police Station praised the child and awarded him with a certificate of appreciation.
The certificate highlights the importance of the community and the police in working together.
