National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority (NCEMA) has announced that wearing masks in outdoor open spaces is not mandatory.
The decision has been made due to the decrease in the number of cases.
The change has already been taken into effect.
Authorities in Dubai as well as in Abu Dhabi have confirmed the new change.
Face masks are still mandatory in indoor areas including malls and schools.
