Reebok along with Pink Caravan, a Friends of Cancer Patient's initiative, will offer women with free clinical check-ups during the month of October.

The REE: THINK PINK initiative will help raise awareness during Breast Cancer Awareness Month on the importance of getting regular check-ups in order to detect breast cancer early.

According to a study done by the UAE National Cancer Registry, young people in the UAE are more susceptible to developing cancer in comparison to other countries with breast cancer, thyroid, colorectal cancer and leukaemia the most common cancers among women.

The mini mobile clinic will be located at Kite Beach on 23 October from 4pm to 10pm.

Women can also participate in a free awareness lecture, clinical examination and mammogram screening at the mobile clinic.

Additionally, the #TheCheckUpChallenge by Reebok will feature female doctors, a choreographer and influencers educating women on the right way to perform breast self-exams.

Dr Sawsan Al Madhi, Director General at Pink Caravan said, "We would like to thank Reebok for their support in raising awareness on breast cancer, which is the most common invasive cancer in women and the second leading cause of cancer deaths in women across the globe. The REE: THINK PINK campaign will enable us to further contribute not just to the UAE community but also to the overall MENA region and advocate our mission.”
