Vaccinated Tourists Can Now Get A Visa To Visit The UAE

WAM

The Federal Authority For Identity and Citizenship (ICA) and the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority (NCEMA) has announced that individuals with tourist visas from any country can now enter the UAE.

Individuals with tourist visas need to be fully vaccinated with one of the COVID-19 vaccines approved by the World Health Organisation (WHO).

Applications for entry will be available from 30 August.

Individuals from countries that were previously banned can also enter.

On arrival, all passengers with a tourist visa must undergo a mandatory PCR test at the airport. The previous rules are still applicable to individuals that are not vaccinated.

Travellers that would like to receive the benefits available to vaccinated individuals in the UAE can register their vaccination certificate on the ICA website and on the Al Hosn App.
