iCademy To Open In Person Classes At Dubai Knowledge Park

iCademy Middle East, the internationally accredited and first KHDA licensed online school, has announced the opening of Knowledge Hub at Dubai Knowledge park due to open on 1 September.

Knowledge Hub will be located at Block 5 of Dubai Knowledge Park and will offer in-person blended learning for around 200 students from the 1,600 students enrolled.

The hub has been designed based on the feedback received from parents and students.

50% of elementary students, 30% of middle school students, and 10% of high school students require additional learning, and the centre will be able to help the students with additional learning needs.

The centre will also feature a science lab and will offer free and paid extracurricular activities, after school and over weekends.

Students can attend the learning centre either five days a week or can choose between two to three days a week.

Jeffrey Smith, Director of School Partnerships for iCademy Middle East said, "Today's students are digital natives and often thrive in an individual, self-paced learning environment. With that said, social interaction, exercise and friendship development play a vital role in the learning process. The aptitude students have for technology is leveraged by our Knowledge Hub Learning Coaches to boost confidence and motivate students to reach their full potential. We work with students in ratios a fraction of the size of an average school. This ensures that every child's academic, social and emotional needs are met and no child falls through the cracks."
