Malls may be virtually empty at the moment with stores closed and only supermarkets and pharmacies open, however that provided an opportunity for something unique at one of Dubai’s newest malls.
With the empty space, two professional drone racers, Ryan Copeland and Vladimir Ivanov, carried out high speed races of their drones throughout Nakheel Mall on Palm Jumeirah.
The two drone racers were given access to the new retail and entertainment destination and a video of their race shows them flying past some stores, up and down escalators and past some of the malls attractions.
