The Ministry of Education (MOE) has announced that the distance learning e-education system that has been in place since 22 March, will be extended until the end of the current academic year.
The MOE took to its official Twitter account to announce the new resolution of continuing the distance learning system until the end of the current school year 2019-2020. The decision includes all public and private schools and higher education institutions at the state level.
MOE says that the decision to extend the distance learning system comes in response to the exceptional circumstances and national efforts to adopt the best mechanisms to preserve society. Currently, the ministry is evaluating methodologies to evaluate the students' performance for the academic year.
