Dubai has given this world many firsts and now it’s set to give tourists and visitors something no other airport in the world does.
Each tourist arriving at Dubai International Airport (DXB) will receive a free du tourist SIM card loaded with complementary three minute talk time and 20 MB data valid for one month.
The free SIM card can be collected at Dubai airport’s immigration counter.
There is only one major requirement to get the SIM card; you should be minimum 18 years old.
The initiative called Connect with Happiness has been launched by Smart Dubai in collaboration with network provider du and the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA).
“In the presence of H.E Dr. @Aisha_BinBishr & in collaboration with @GDRFADUBAI & @dutweets, we are launching the “Connect with Happiness” initiative - providing all Dubai visitors first-ever complimentary DU tourist SIM cards once they arrive at the Dubai International Airport.”
