Ramadan Working Hours For Private Sector Announced

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation issued a circular on Wednesday to announce the reduced working hours for private sector employees during the Holy month of Ramadan.

As per the ministry notification, private sector working hours will be reduced by two hours per day during the Holy month.

The International Astronomical Centre has predicted the start of the Holy Month of Ramadan on 6 May

The school day during Ramadan will start between 8.00am to 8.30am and finish between 1.00pm to 1.30pm, with shorter breaks as required. Schools should ensure that the total hours at school per day for students does not exceed five hours.
