The UAE Cabinet has adopted a decision to launch the Electronic Family Book to be used in all customer service transactions across the UAE.
The new Electronic Family Book will be directly linked with Emirates ID and will be applicable from 1 July, 2019. It is expected to reduce customer service processing time by 80 per cent by 2021.
A series of workshops on the card will be held before its launch in July.
The implementation of the Electronic Family Book will enhance data security and reduce chances of fraud.
